Insurance & Payment
Your Payment Guide
Many families pay less for in-home care than they expect. We help you navigate every payment option — including VA benefits, LTC insurance, and Medicare — so you can focus on care, not paperwork.
Payment Options We Accept
We work with families to identify every benefit available to them and minimize out-of-pocket costs.
Private Pay
Most CommonPay directly by credit card, debit card, personal check, or ACH bank transfer. Flexible billing — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
Long-Term Care Insurance
We File for YouIf your loved one has an LTC policy, it likely covers in-home care. We work directly with your insurer and handle the claims process.
VA Aid & Attendance
Veterans & SpousesVeterans and surviving spouses may qualify for the VA Aid & Attendance benefit — up to $2,300/month for a veteran couple — to help pay for in-home care.
Medicare
Skilled Care OnlyMedicare Part A/B covers skilled home health services (nursing, therapy) when ordered by a physician after a qualifying hospitalization. Does not cover custodial care.
Medicare Advantage
Most Plans AcceptedWe accept most Medicare Advantage (Medicare Part C) plans. Many Advantage plans include in-home care benefits beyond what traditional Medicare covers — contact us to verify your specific plan.
Nebraska State Medicaid Waiver Provider
State ProgramAs a Nebraska State Medicaid Waiver Provider, we serve eligible seniors through the Aged & Disabled Waiver (ADW) and other waiver programs — reducing or eliminating out-of-pocket costs for qualifying individuals.
VA Aid & Attendance
The VA Aid & Attendance benefit is one of the most valuable and least-known benefits available to veterans. If your family member served in the military and needs help with activities of daily living, they may qualify for a substantial monthly payment to offset in-home care costs.

Long-Term Care Insurance
If your loved one purchased an LTC policy years ago, it almost certainly covers in-home care. Many policies pay $100–$300/day for qualified home care — potentially covering a significant portion of your care costs.
