Insurance & Payment

Your Payment Guide

Many families pay less for in-home care than they expect. We help you navigate every payment option — including VA benefits, LTC insurance, and Medicare — so you can focus on care, not paperwork.

Payment Options We Accept

We work with families to identify every benefit available to them and minimize out-of-pocket costs.

Private Pay

Most Common

Pay directly by credit card, debit card, personal check, or ACH bank transfer. Flexible billing — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

VA Aid & Attendance

The VA Aid & Attendance benefit is one of the most valuable and least-known benefits available to veterans. If your family member served in the military and needs help with activities of daily living, they may qualify for a substantial monthly payment to offset in-home care costs.

Eligibility Requirements

Veteran with at least 90 days active duty (including 1 day of wartime service)
Honorably discharged
Needs help with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, etc.)
Limited assets (excludes primary home and car)
Surviving spouses of qualifying veterans also eligible

Long-Term Care Insurance

If your loved one purchased an LTC policy years ago, it almost certainly covers in-home care. Many policies pay $100–$300/day for qualified home care — potentially covering a significant portion of your care costs.
